Viral Video of Congress Leaders Leaves Karnataka Unit Red-faced
The Karnataka Congress was left red-faced after its chief leader and two members were found dissing the state unit’s head DK Shivakumar on a leaked clip on Wednesday.

In the video making the rounds of social media platforms, the former Lok Sabha MP VS Ugrappa and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee media coordinator Saleem Ahmed is seen discussing a “scandal” that involves Shivakumar. Both leaders claim the allegations that Shivakumar and his associates paid the bribe, India Today reported.

The two leaders can be heard saying Shivakumar has no significance for Congress. Congress, in addition to stating that Shivakumar is a frequent drinker.

The video surfaced the day following the Income Tax officials searching for an image-related and political consulting firm located in Bengaluru, with Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar as one of the clients.

The company, DesignBoxed, has been managing Shivakumar’s image and strategy for the last six months. The company has also played a role with Congress campaigning throughout Assam as well as Chhattisgarh.
